See what we've been up to lately!

Updated: Nov 5, 2020

If you've heard of us, you would know that we're this fun, "under the radar" company with a long history of working with high profile projects. For 40 years, Western Millwork Inc is "The most sought-after manufacturer and installer of the highest quality architectural woodwork since 1980."

Our latest high profile projects are the Desert Diamond West Valley Casino in Glendale, Arizona and the State Farm Stadium (home of the Arizona Cardinals) in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Tohono O'odham Nation opened its new, full-scale Desert Diamond West Valley Casino with table games and slot machines on February 19th, 2020. Construction was estimated at $400 million for the 2.3 million square-foot casino near 93rd and Northern avenues in Glendale, and boasts daily lines around the property of patrons waiting to enter the casino. Unfortunately, the pandemic happened, and 4 weeks later on March 18th, 2020 the casino had to close its doors.

Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment welcomed guests back to all four of its properties at 1:00 p.m. on June 5th, 2020 offering guests the highest level of protection at every step of their visit. Re-opening the facility took place in phases, with CDC and other relevant guidelines either being met or exceeded.

We were able to visit and take some pictures last month, and here is a glimpse of some of the work that we did:

The second fun project that we worked on was the State Farm Stadium, formerly University of Phoenix Stadium, in Phoenix, Arizona home of the Arizona Cardinals. The stadium will receive $100 million in upgrades between 2017 and Super Bowl LVII in 2023 with female fans in mind.

What does that $100 million include you ask? $28M: Stadium club area renovations with female fans in mind. $28M: Parking lot, pedestrian tunnel and bridge, security. $6.7M: Maintaining quality in stadium. $2.4M: Field tray upgrade. $1M: Fun fan area. $35M: Future stadium upgrades.

Here is a peek at some of the interior renovations that we did:
